Foundation: The SIMSUP™ is a high aspect ratio displacement hull design. The length,
width and bottom contours combine to create a board that gets up on plane
with very little effort. This is what makes small wave surfing on it so much fun.
And when the waves have a bit more punch, the planing speed this board provides allows the
rider to explore parts of the wave that other boards simply cannot.

Meticulous attention and respect has been paid to incorporating the proven hydrodynamic principles of Bob Simmons and the modern influence of
Joe Bauguess into the design of the Original SIMSUP design series.

The Original SIMSUP (OS) is the entry level board. It is the most stable paddler
in the series while maintaining it's amazing attributes of speed and maneuverability.
The OS is a paragon of versatility and may be the best all-rounder you will ever own.

SIMSUP 2 (OS2) features enhanced design elements that add to the boards quickness
and maneuverability in the surf. The k-rail with amplified vee bottom allows
OS2 to go on rail more easily. Think surfboard rail. Reduced volume gives the OS2
added pop on the wave face. Versatility is never sacrificed, OS2 will get the
job done in small surf and big surf.

SIMSUP X3 (OSX3) deserves the "X" title much like the first Bell XS-1 aircraft that broke
the sound barrier. Designed to be the apex performer in the series, the OSX3 features
deeper k-rails and concave in the vee panels, a double winged tail,
and reduced volume for increased paddling speed and super loose wave face mobility.

(NEW) L41 S4 is the result of rider feedback and the evolving design of the SIMSUP series. The S4 maintains the elements that make the SIMSUP family work (short/wide plan shape, early entry and quick acceleration, etc.) but with a narrower nose and tail, increased tail rocker and V under the back foot and it's unique bottom contours this design is truly in a class of it's own.  The bottom is unlike anything you've ever seen.  A hulled entry quickly transitions into a deep double concave and finishes with a V bottom through the fin cluster.  This allows for quick and easy wave entry and plenty of lift at speed.  The chined rails provide a hard edge to help relieve the suction pressure created by water flow over the concaves and initiate turns.  This rail design also decreases the rail volume and makes the board surf like it's much narrower.  The S4 goes rail to rail with ease and excels at both high trim speed runs and tight turns in the pocket.
